It's the climb

I had a mentally draining day at work today, and for some reason my body was just exhausted when I got home. I didn't feel like getting ready to go to the gym, I didn't feel like doing Insanity, and it was too late for me to run on my own. But I have 32 stairs in my home MEANING I can do my own at home stair workout.

If you have stairs in your house, there's no need to go elsewhere! Otherwise, find a local park or beach with some stairs, or head over to your gym to utilize that booty burnin stair master. Set a timer for 15 minutes and just GO.

I wanted to keep it a bit light today, since my body is telling me to cool it, so following my 15 minute cardio stair run, I completed this 10 minute ab workout by Chloe Ting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pLT-olgUJs

While I wanted to have a kick ass workout today, my body was needing something else. So to end my lovely little recovery workout, I put in my airpods, played some relaxing music, and just stretched.

Wherever you are, I encourage you to end this workout by unplugging. Put your phone away, sit in silence or to calming music, and just be. Be proud of the work your body just put in, and find peace in the stillness.
