I've been seeing oat pancakes circling around the internet, and tbh I thought they were probably nasty af. It just seems so clear that one should never stray from buttermilk pancakes. . .
BUT, my dope ass friend Cassie has shown me the way. She made these amazing, and EASY, oat pancakes and topped it off with some honey instead of syrup.
I won't keep you waiting any longer. Here's the recipe:
- Makes about 8 small pancakes
* 4 eggs
* 2 packs of oatmeal (be creative! Use maple, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, apple, or blueberry oats!)
* 2 mashed bananas
* Tbsp of vanilla
* Mix the eggs, oatmeal, and mashed bananas together
* Butter your pan, pour, and wallah. Simple as that!
Top your beautiful creation off with some fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey. Such a healthy and hearty recipe. Your tastebuds and stomach will thank you! Don't believe me? Try it for yourself!
Happy Eating, foodies!
