Spaghetti Squash with Shrimp


1 small spaghetti squash

1 tbsp. of olive oil

100 grams of precooked shrimp

Italian spices

Garlic powder

Salt and pepper

¼ cup of Marinara Sauce

Low fat mozzarella cheese or dairy free cheese


  1. Cut the spaghetti squash in half. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30-45 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Allow it to cool a bit.

  2. Scoop out the seeds and discard. With a fork, scrape the squash creating spaghetti strands.

  3. Heat up the olive oil and marinara in a medium size sauce pan over medium heat.

  4. Add the garlic powder, salt and pepper, Italian spices.

  5. Bring a medium pot of water to a boil and boil the shrimp for about 3-5 minutes just until they are pink. Be careful not to overcook them or they'll be tough.

  6. Drain the water and add them to the sauce.

  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
